Mantled Howler Monkey Mom and Baby
Mantled Howler Monkey
Alouatta palliata
As everyone else took a nap, I strolled through the jungle and across a swinging bridge. Suddenly, I was eye to eye with a troupe of Howler Monkeys. A large tree had been felled the day before causing these monkeys to relocate to an area they’d not been seen in in many years. I was thrilled to see this mom and baby just a few yards from me.
